Estate Late FICA requirements

The following documents are required for the accounts of a deceased:


For the deceased, we require: 

  • Certified copy of death certificate. 
  • Clear copy of ID. 
  • A stamped and dated letter from the bank confirming the estate late’s bank account details (less than three months old). Alternatively, stamped copies of bank statements confirming the same can be submitted (less than three months old). 
  • Resolution (if more than one executor) or Power of Attorney. 
  • Clear copy of Letter of Executorship / Authority. 
  • Client Engagement form (top half of page 1 to be filled in for the deceased; bottom half of page 1 and last page to be filled in for the executor / attorney). 

 

For the executor/s, we require: 

  • Clear copy of ID. 
  • Proof of address (less than three months old).
