Minor FICA requirements

For individual persons, resident or non-resident, who are under 18 years of age, the following documents are required:

• Clear copy of ID or birth certificate of minor. 

• A stamped and dated letter from the minor’s bank confirming the minor’s individual bank account details (less than three months old). Alternatively, stamped copies of bank statements confirming the same can be submitted (less than three months old). 

• Client Engagement form (to be filled in and signed by parent). 

• Clear copy of parent’s ID. 

• Proof of address of parent (less than three months old). 

• Letter from parent confirming that the minor lives at their address.
